This wasn't the worst game I had ever seen at Pools, but it was in the top ten. Nothing happened until Nelson scored, they levelled and then Clark stroked home a stonewall penalty.

ALB: 7 Steady, kicking was better.
Sweeney 8 Awesome.
Ritchie 7 Dependable.
Clark 9 Colossal.
Nelson 9 Ditto
Collins 8 Ellish.
Jones 9 Brilliant.
Liddle In and out 6
Monkhouse 8 Worked hard.
Guy Quiet 5
Parker Looks like he enjoys playing in the hole 6

Great three points. Well done lads! clappp clappp

That brandy must be getting stronger. No one on the pitch from either side deserved more than a 7 tonight, it was a poor game of football played in awful conditions, decided by what looked to me like a cack refereeing decision. Just because we sneak a win doesn't mean you "add 2" you know!

Cracking win though, takes the pressure off Saturday.

Yes. I still dont get this thing about Jones. Some say he was excellent and I think he was average at best. Are peopel still seeing what club he came from?

I think Richie Jones, at 20, is an outstanding prospect.

I'd agree about the marks Spiff I'd actually give everyone on the pitch on both sides a six, because the conditions won the day, but it was a stonewall penalty. The centre rarf was nowhere near the ball when he chopped Guy, it was exactly level with us and I have no idea what Tranmere were moaning about, Guy had to go off a result of the challenge no doubt about it he was clipped. Our two goals were the nights only bits of skill, Jones run for the first, and Parker and Guys link up for the pen.

And are you still repeating that tired old shite? Jones has been one of our best players this season, and I couldn't give a toss if we'd signed him from the Rec.

Thanks MJ.

add a bit of experience to the mix and POTENTIALLY has the ability to be one of our best midfield players for a long time, much better than tinkler etc
