And fitted with an approved and correctly rated fused connection device one would hope?

NB: I am not convinced that you can disclaim your responsibility in such a vague statement. As the responsible person you cannot hide behind statements such as 'to the best of my knowledge' you must therefore have your nominated electrical contractor test and approve this device before utilising it within the workplace.

   sounds expensive:

I would expect to pay:

Hartlepool to Bristol 271 miles x 2 = 552 miles
Driving time approximately 12 hours
Van contribution @ £25
Fuel approximately 20 gallons
Driver @ £8ph
Fuel @ 4.50 per gall
Profit @ 25%

Estimated cost - around £260

Parcelforce quote:

Assuming 150 kilograms on Parcelforce 48 hour delivery, they quote £126.25. Seems reasonable Elvis. It would cost almost that in fuel to get to Bristol and back in a van.

Go sorted for £120!

A bloke from Sunderland's doing it as a return run after delivering Eggs to Zummerzett! (Seriously!)

I've checked him out and he's kosher, don't know about the eggs though.

Bargain!

I don't think that you can get kosher eggs.

I hear that selection A13 also plays - it's Billy Bragg with Route A13
