you will get used to it, people just dont like change! personally i think its quite nice and upto date, the old layout was outdated

The only problem imo is the column/frame for the avatars is too wide. Correct this and it will be

I prefer the old one mainly because of the next topic button which saves going back to the forum home page after reading each thread

Its like everything else people don't like going out their comfort zone... resistance to change is dangerous.. Its quite refreshing and new this layout.

I've temporarily put it back to this until I sort out the glitches.

'Comfort Zone' doesn't enter into it as far as I'm concerned. The old one is just an easier to read format.
The new page with the list of topics isn't nice at all. Too many different icons, blue circles, red circles, text, scrolling text, combinations of the four. Topic titles too close together. Not as easy to quickly see who started a topic.

I am all for change but only for the better, not for the sake of it.
Just my opinion.

if you are going to make changes why not make subtle little changes over say a few weeks so the natives can get used to them,because if you go bang and make a lot at once they can't cope.

I don't like this change.

Next thing you'll be letting darkies in and allowing women in the bar.
