I don't want to count any chickens before they hatch but could it be that we have finally started our march towards the top of the league, the signs are there, we might still not be playing brilliant but we are getting results now.
3 away wins in a row and a home win against one of the strongest sides in the league will be sending out a strong message to the rest of the league, most of whom seemingly feared us anyway at the start of the season, if we can keep this run going and the confidence keeps building who knows what we could achieve.
Most of the success we enjoyed over the last few years was built on a foundation of confidence and arrogance and the belief that we could beat anyone, it's been missing for a year and a bit but it seems to be coming back now.
What we need now is for the fans to start believing (I admit I'm one that isn't totally convinced yet, but I'm coming round a bit now) and maybe a couple of good signings in January to convince the rest of the doubters then things could really take off again.
I hope theres a really good turnout on Friday night and I hope they come to encourage and witness a really cracking performance to set us up for the Xmas period.
So come on Poolies, lets be patient on Friday and really get behind 'em from start to finish, we demanded results, Danny and the boys have delivered, now it's our turn, together the fans and the players can make Hartlepool UNITED again and show this league what we're really about.
