unless you're a parent, you cannot even come close to grasping what the loss of a child would mean. horrible situation, whatever your politics, and sensitively handled by brown. sadx

Sympathies from the Billingham household to the Camerons for their loss. I can't begin to imagine the pain they will be feeling.

May I add my condolences to the Camerons - yesterday was truly a day for putting politics aside.

Sympathy and commiserations to all parents who've lost a child. It's true that as a parent it's an unbearable thought.

Sad, yes ... but Page 1 news? It's Diana-esque!

The boy was extremely ill, so it wasn't a sudden death. Any death of a child is sad but let's get this into context on the day four more British soldiers were killed in Afgahistan, and nine died in a plane crash.

He was the son of a man who, if all polls are to be believed, will be the next Prime Minister of our country and a World Leader.

The plane crash, though tragic, was very small in terms of casulaties, and I hate to say it, not terrorist related.

The press reported on when Barack Obama's grandmother died on the eve of the election last year.

In which way do you equate, soldiers dying in duty and kids getting terrible illnessess? FFS just accept that some people would like to pay their respects!
