I cannot remember the last time that I have felt so annoyed after leaving the game.

I promptly drove home, eat my tea (after snapping at our lass about ten times) and now sat sulking while reading this board. I want to throw my fist through a wall.

I felt we would be in a relegation battle this season but I was always quietly confident that the lads would rally and get us out of the mire. After that performance im really not too sure. There was no real effort apart from Nelse and the keeper and this is not acceptable.

I really dont know what to say after that and I am really trying not to start calling our players names.

I have always been a cynic but i really have no optimism left now.

Oh and on the subject of CT, Im going to avoid calling him a bounder but I will say this....he is feckin clueless, please welcome to the board you loser and take westy with you.

Pretty much sums up my feelings about today.

my thoughts were :

turner seemed frustrated as a numer of players weren't following orders or gameplans.

i thought alb and collins were excellent.

nardiello lost me money, and looked about as good as i would at that level.

To be fair I thought Ben Clark & Sweeney also had pretty good games

The linesman on the Millhouse side was either blind, stupid or bent, the number of wrong offsides he gave against us (particularly 2nd half)

Yes we were shite, but may well have scored anyway if some of the wrong offside calls hadn't been made

Also don't forget their keeper made at least 2 good saves that I remember

Absolutely we were sh1te today, but that doesn't mean I can't pass comment on the officials today does it? I wasn't aware that I blamed them for our total capitulation.

yeah Ben Clark is already a poolie legend but he done fuck all today, hes attacking flair is practically at zero, and most definately not the type of player we need playing in that posisition right now.

whatever, but he was playing in a posisition where we needed a bit of stability, flair and magic... not a centre back pretending to be an attacking midfielder.

Like Humps though only playing where they told. This lies with the management and owners lack of signing a competent replacement or failure to have a recognised replacement within the squad.

Could equally therefore say keep Clark as a holding midfielder & replace Liddle with a flair player?

Have to say that works MUCH better for me, Clark covers our woefully inadequate defense & in my view should always be first on the team sheet if only for that reason

Alternatively, drop Collins & put Clark back in defense? Who would you then put on as the flair midfielder? Do we have such an animal at Pools?
