Police attempted to ban away fans from attending the Grimsby vs. Lincoln match.

"Humberside Police said it had wanted to minimise the risk to public safety. "

Anyway fortunatley they failed.

sadly for the home team, it means the muskers will put out half a million bobbies and so any extra revenue they would have enjoyed will get stolen from them by robbers wearing hats and green fluorescent coats

I remember when all away fans got banned from Torquay for at least one full season, I remember me and a few other lads from the Marines got in and passed our ID cards back through the gate to other fans who had just turned up on the off chance. In the end there must of been about 20 of us.
