. there's another war and we all end up in a fight, please, please, please, please, don't put me anywhere near some of the whining, whimpering, sarcastic, self justifying gobshites that seem to be infesting this board with their expert little mens opinions, who do who it for no other reason than to express opinions that hold no weight outside their own minds but continue to pump out repetitive bilge week after week under the radged delusion that their opinions count for fook all.
It's a sad indictment of this board that some posters by ignorance, malice or ego are only happy if the club are run to their 'world vision' and continue to remorselessly supply 'their facts' to give us 'their' agenda, most of which with hindsight is proved to be total bolex.
Debate seems to have flown out of the window, to be replaced by certain posters either 'shouting down' contributors down with repetitive use of swear words or long winded replies that on closer inspection are sulks disguised badly as constructive argument.
The best thing to do now is either give the board a miss after every game so these children can run amok in the playground shouting the odds and come back when the little dears have tired them selves out.
It's not Pools that make me roll my eyes, it's the attention seeking smart arses who are either predicting disaster or revelling in it....'if only Turner had followed their advice'.......

Unusually Tree, I disagree. I think it is a rubbish post and merely highlighted yet again the fact that Snowy cannot tolerate any criticism aimed at the crap players in our squad.

So there

I'm not familiar with that phrase unfortunately and can only guess at its intended meaning, but what I meant was that Snowy by posting in that way, was also guilty of the same posting practices he was criticising. There being the irony.

So there
Unusually .....oops, ... as usual, you get it wrong and miss the point all in one ... again ... as I have acknowledged the need for a new keeper and full backs in other posts  , where we differ is, I realise we're in a spot and we're stuck with what we've got, so we've got to get the best out of it, even if it is crap. It's called logic, it's also referred to as 'getting on with it and making the best of it' ...... as opposed to chuntering.

Mr Abingdon, don't use those automatic bogs down near the river, they're a death trap.
Right, your original point, if you go off to war, it's advisable to go with a fighting, confident attitude, belief in your cause and the ability to hack it when the shit starts flying. It's no good being on the beach at Normandy and giving the following diatribe when things don't look too promising ....." damned bounders the lot of them, we oughta sack Monty and get a proper general in who has experience of winning wars, I don't know what Churchill's thinking of giving him the job, he's so fooking secretive, he tells us nowt yet we're the ones paying for it and the organisation of the army is fooking appalling. We're lumbered with them fookin Sherman tanks when we should have proper tanks instead of that rubbish, they couldn't pick a tank if they tried. As for the tactics, I wouldn't dream of attacking them that way, but what would we know, we're only fooking privates etc, etc, "
Where's a sniper when you need one ..... ?

I do enjoy a good Snowy analogy, and that was one of the best! Who said the board's going downhill?
