My uncle used to go to the creek on the bus with his shotgun and cartridges when he was a kid doesnt make it right. I know your point I got I.D the other day for a packed of razors and I am 26 (granted I am only short) but if people started selling them or solvents to kids and if even one caused a kid to glue sniff or shlash their wrists there would be up roar.

Its just a matter of common sence thats the problem, like were places stop people buying high quanities of nail varnish, parecetamol etc from their shop, however there are about 30 places at least in the town were you can buy these products so all you have to do is walk round them all if you were that way inclined

What I don't get about knife amnesties is that the only people who will turn up are the ones who weren't intending knife-abuse anyway.
It's a bit like train ticket collectors trailing up and down the aisle, shouting, 'Anyone got on at Durham?' People without tickets are just bound to stand up and say, 'Yes, I did, but I'm not paying.'
