Amazing how it has solved itself really. Sweeney has shown himself to be an outstanding right back and I think will make the position his own for years to come.

Always nice having a defender who can play the ball out of defence and look comfortable going forward.

I disagree completely, Sweeney is a great lad who I'd pick every week put he gets exposed as much as Richie away from home he gets away with a bit more as he has extra pace but we still need proper full backs. I can't knock his performances in the position, they are as whole hearted as when he plays anywhere else on the pitch and tonight he had a fine game.
