and Darlington Disabled Supporters Association have got together to organise a fundraising event at Darlington FC on the 26th of march. This is taking the form of a Question of Sport evening with a team from Darlington football club and Hartlepool United football club. I know that Craig Liddle is their team captain and we have approached Micky Barron to be ours. We are hoping that others players will be available to come along as well.

Tickets cost £3.50 and they include a pie and pea supper and entry into a draw to become part of the Hartlepool quiz team. If enough people want to go through we will look at putting on a bus at an additional cost so people don't have to bother about driving through.

Come along and support the team it should be a great night.

I could be interested, although the thought of mixing with fans of the doyle doesn't fill me with great enthusiasm.

Don't you think that is somewhat small minded money is being raised to help disabled people nothing more nothing less.

It could be deemed as small minded, but to some of us there is no attraction to being in the same place as doyles fans unless the two teams are on the pitch.
