Quote from the mail.

Mr KB. unemployed 49 year old said.

It won't really affect me i'm unemployed.
Benefit is the way foward.

If you don't pay council tax then you shouldn't be allowed to vote in local elections.

Ditto with national taxes and national elections.

Don't the Council realise there's a credit crunch? They should reduce the tax, not increase it.

british gas, eon and scottish and southern have indeed cut gas and electric prices recently.

Gas went up 30 odd percent about six months ago however and I doubt the decrease is anywhere near this figure.

I fixed till 2011 before the last increase though so should be fine! :coool:

Aren't they cutting them in March, when the nights are lighter and the weather is slightly warmer. Bold move that by the utility companies.

Er, I'd check that out, apparently some companies interpret the price fix as something to be 'squared up later....

Everyone used to moan about British Rail when it was publicly owned, but the subsidies the private operators receive, dwarf anything BR received and you could get trains from Hartlepool. Nationalise the lot!

The trains aren't here to provide a service, they're here to provide a profit for their private owners........ sadly. sadx

They should cut the salaries off all those earning 30k plus for a start. The Mayor should lead the way by setting an example and cutting his salary or at least refusing a rise.

Its quite obvious to me almost every one with money cant be trusted in this country, all got their noses in the trough, whilst the country goes to the dogs.

In their defence though their cant be many paying council tax in the town, no wonder its looking shabby at the moment.
