Seaton Carew Road next to the fire station what a great place kiddies play area shop. cafe and wildlife viewing balcony's binoculars to use free in a brand new building.
Some great walks and cycle paths and some lovely birds (feathered) well worth a pop up the kids they will love it i know i did well impressed.

MrsB and I went last week, very impressive. Even joined the RSPB (36quid a year).
Would definately recommend a visit

Is this the same as the Seal-viewing centre? If so we tried to visit it last year after seeing an ad, but couldn't find it anywhere.

no that is not the viewing centre that is down the path
the seals are only up that part of the creek at high tide :roll: stpid :wink:

Right.
It's probably my fault I missed them. Whenever I arrive at a habitat where wildlife is known to abound, the wildlife goes into hiding.

I have heard nothing but good reports of Saltholme, I shall be paying a visit later in the year. It looks like been a success story, we dont get many in this part of the world.
