Which leaves us with Mark Cook as back up, a player who hasn't even been on the bench yet.

Mr Ptbap doths cap to Mr Fetishbob.

if Pools AREN'T planning on bringing in a replacement keeper, then the club today stands accused of gambling with our League One status in a wreckless manner.
I hope they have something in hand, because this situation is now critical, with regard to keeping a plank like Barrett in nets.

It is crazy. Say ALB broke his hand or something, what then? Mark Cook in goal until we find an adequate replacement? We will then be in a desperate position and will settle for another second rate keeper like Budtz or ALB!!! stpid

I could have said he was going to Real Madrid if you wanted drama

But i said might be going to Oldham because at the time of talking to him it was not certain and his agent was sorting it out.

Lots of keepers are worse than ALB.

Until or unless I see Cook play I wouldn't like to comment.

I guess you don't remember the likes of Rob Moverley, Steve Jones, Martin Burleigh, Roy Tunks, Flapper Cox...

Surely, if there was an injury to ALB, Pools could just recall Budtz, it is only a loan

Having said that I think that most people would rather see a proper keeper come in instead

Most loans can only be recalled once the first month has elapsed, although I don't know the full details on Janice's move.

So let me get this right. We have two shite keepers, but we let the better of the two go on loan.

Go Pools go. stpid

sctatchinghead

I thought we'd let the reserve keeper who isn't in the team out on loan and that it might free up a space in the squad to bring a better first choice keeper in on loan.

But I s'pose I'm not looking on the negative side of things.

Negative?

We have left the worst keeper pools have had in the last 10 years, with no competition for his place.

Yeh I suppose I am being negative.

At least you can admit it.

We were just saying that earlier at work. Just can't see what circumstances would have to be in place before KH would consider resigning Jimbo though.

From what I can gather from the message boards I can access, he didn't have a lot to do other than the goal they conceded, which he should have saved, but I'd like to hear more.
