...is the news so dramatic these days...

The newsreaders on Sky (and the others) seem to have their dramatic voice on all the time...words like catastrophic, drama, chaos etc etc....

Even minor stories get this treatment too.

What happened to just reading the news instead of trying to act it out?

It's the news's fault for being dramatic.

Well, could be this sort of palaver......

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/7888385.stm

Bloke gets shot in the head eight times for nowt and then it's no-ones fault??

Says the pompous bounder: Stephen O'Doherty, the lawyer who led the CPS review, said: "I have now concluded that there is insufficient evidence that any offence was committed by any individual officers in relation to the tragic death of Mr de Menezes."

Really??

So why did he end up dead then with eight holes in his head?? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead sctatchinghead sctatchinghead

Usually, if it's a Somalian in London, one hole anywhere is enough for damnation.... confised

Doesn't being shot in the head eight times kinda equal no more head? How do you count bullet holes in no head?
