my telly has bluetooth, is there any way i can play a film on my computer and send it via bluetooth and watch it on the tv ?

Not that i'm aware, you'd need high bandwith and bluetooth is slow as far as wireless connections go. Maybe still pictures though.

blue tooth on TV's is used like a bluetooth headset in a car would be, so you can listen to the call thru your TV

I like things to be separate with a single function, and identifiable by their appearance so I know what it is and what it should do.
