You really get the impression Gavin loved his time at Pools, we're the only club he really talks/reminisces about! I wonder if he got an invite for Sunday night?

he always comes up with a different subject and gives an honest viewpoint, plus it's much more interesting to read the thoughts of a lower league player, especially a player who has been one of our own!!

why?

he was a very poor version of Gary Liddle, only ever knew how to pass sideways or back. Love reading his blog though

A very decent player for Pools, I wouldn't use the term 'very poor'.

He seemed to be always the one who was dropped or subbed, irrespective of performance.

How I would like a Gavin Strachan Calibre player in our team right now.

At the minute we dont have anyone who is willing to put a crunching tackle in when we need one, no one can seem to take the game and lead when we need some1 to in midfield.

Strachan could do this.
