Tomorrow night David Beckham will equal "Sir" Bobby Moore's record of England appearances..

Although he I don't think he is anyway close to the great man himself....

I remember watching (on telly) that world cup qualifier against Poland with the Polish centre forward in a one on one with Bobby Moore.

Bobby Moore with that deceptively languid but commanding style used to eat them up no problem but the ball bobbled and went past Bobby accompanied by the Pole.......no more wold cup and it's been approximately the same ever since.

Was that 1970?
