Double page 'Winter Picture special'

rolfl rolfl rolfl

Along the banner at the top; "As teams battle to keep roads open, Public take snowstorm in their stride" sctatchinghead rolfl

Pictures of snow from Peterlee, Horden, and Shotton (not much snow like compared to down South and West Yorkshire)

The ones from Hartlepool a woman walking her dog in Ward Jackson Park, were the snow is so thin so can see the pavement through the DOGS footprint rolfl

Also a postman in West Park 'battling' a similarly minuscule smattering of snow.

Also a 'snowplow' in Shotton clearing snow on a completely clear road (It's just a tractor)

It's barely snowed here!!! I keenly await tomorrow's heatwave special, as I've heard it's fooking boiling in Australia....

Where?

The only really heavy snow I can recall was about 1995 or 1996 when it snowed like feck on boxing day

Anyway all reports are bounders  , they would try and tell you the moon is made of cheese if it would sell tomorrows chip wrappers

i remember that snowfall, it was 95, no one made it to my nans on boxing day expect us lot who walked from west view, kicking a football up the saxon field as we went.

Thats probably the deepest snow i remember in my life time.

Worst Winter for 18 years! They've got a point though...

...it was down to 18C here yesterday AND I had to wear jeans to the bar instead of shorts.

It was touch and go whether or not I made it to work today!

Lazy fookers in our London office didn't make it in though. violin

does anyone remember the Viz cartoon of Mrs Brady old lady, senile old bag getting wrapped up and putting all the fires on when it was the hottest summer "since records began"................well apparently she's doing the weather reports for the news
