The Linesman did see it, that's why no further action has been taken as it was saw by an official and not deemed a yellow or red card offence!

ALB's decision was correct, he deserved to be banned as the ref said had he saw it he would he sent him off (and rightly so). In this instance the linesman should be struck off if he didn't think that was even a booking! The FA have consistent laws in place, it's just the officials are getting worse.

I'll be the one who says what a load if crap. Bring back tackling I agree, but when was putting your studs in the back of an opponent "tackling" if he had just gone into him with his shoulder and pushed him over then fair enough. But putting studs in the back DELIBERATELY , is a sending off. Never mind his apology the intent was there. You would have been screaming all sorts if an opponent had done that to a Pools' player.

The linesman is one of two things in my opinion blind or a liar, I will go for the first it lot less likely to get me into trouble.
