Where is he then?
Can he play full back or goalie?

This is getting silly. Is he intending to play 2-4-4?

Mind, for all the use our defence is...

i disagree. I dont think its silly at all. We only have two capable strikers with young hendo as backup. What is obvious is turner doesnt think mackay or foley are good enough. Add that to the fact that the last time we were relegated we didnt have any decent strikers then i can see why turner is doing what he is doing. However i would like to see a defender signed.

If he doesn't sign a new keeper then i think its very very silly. Strengthening the bench but not addressing a massive problem we have in our starting XI is silly management in my opinion.

Don't be daft Mr Herad, 2-3-5 surely, which means we need another couple of forwards.

i think its plainly obvious that he believes the defence and keepers are adequate to get us through til the end of the season. Which i think it might just.

So we have signed another striker who is a few weeks away from fitness?

Great.

Says on Sky Sports that there is still a problem that needs sorting out on his contract before he agrees to move here, we want an option to extend his move and he does not.

So according to sky we not signed him, I'm more tempted to believe Sky Sports than the Hartlepool Mail. But we need to wait and see

We seem to be making the mistake of signing a lot of middle aged players who are injury prone these days. Nardiello, Boland, now this guy.

Its on the Pools website now - Rune Lange signed. Has went for a £4 million transfer fee in the past. Even if that was in 2000 he is still worth a look at clappp

FFS. He has said himself he will not be fit enough for selection till at least March.
Why the hell did we sign him, we already have one unfit striker are we collecting them

Given the fact that Porter really needs a rest to get over his tendonitis - and we would then be left with Henderson, Foley and Mackay up front I think it's a good move.

the way I see it is................ the people at the club probably haven't been able to persuade a decent keeper to come, so they've took the attitude that we'll attack sides in the remaining games and try and outscore them - which is not impossible is it?
Look at the teams we have left to play (albeit a few away from home) and I would rather see us go for goals in every game from now on, and I think that's exactly what we'll do. We definitely have the players to score them.
My main criticism is leaving Liddle in centre mid - get Sweeney back in there and we'll probably get another 5 or 6 we wouldn't have otherwise scored because of Sweeney's runs into the box, whether he scores them himself or causes a team mate to get the chance to score.

I actually think Liddle could do a very good job as a full back as well, since his first season here he's barely been used as a defender. He's done well every time he's played centre back or full back.

Speaking of which, Martin Hollund and Stig Larsen are on there. We should ask Hollund to come back!
