Now that I'm home, fed and watered.

My Barnsley supporting friend at work said he wished he was still playing for them and he was the kind of player that could notch 20-25 goals a season in League 1.

Well...it was a very good debut. I received a text asking me what I thought of him, it was too cold and I couldn't type so I replied with one word “skilful”. He's a really clever player, he is very similar to Boyd and Brown. He can tie defenders in knots.

We must sign him permanently.

until the full back and keeper problems are resolved then it matters not a lot how good Porter and Nardiello are, sadly.
Their efforts will be nullified by events at the other end of the pitch.

agree with all that's been said about the lad, a very promising debut although I did think he looked a little lightweight.

I thought he was a little greedy also when he could have easily tee'd up Joel on a couple of occasions. That said, being gisn't a bad habit to have so long as he finds the net more often than not.

I also think he'll link up well with Joel once they've get a couple of starts together.

MK Dons next for me.

If he gets a few goals they will want him back or he will move to a Championship club or a bigger team than us!

Concurred.

Loanees are a no win situation:

If they're shite you lose, if they're good they get recalled.
If they're shite you don't want to sign them, if they're good they get signed by a higher club or they want a fortune.

It sounds like he had an encouraging debut, lets hope he can stay fit and get a run of games under his belt. He has a track record of injuries so we will just have to wait and see what develops...

He says on Vital Blackpool that he has been told the move won't be permanent, doesn't say who said that though.

He said he is settled in Blackpool and has friends in the area etc, nothing more than that as far as I'm aware of.
