I can't believe how bad the Town End are either, about ten inaudible kids try to sing.

well if you have a problem, why don't you assist and join in.

One thing which annoys me and I haven't noticed it anywhere else I've been except in a Hartlepool end is when someone starts a song, people turn round to see who is making the racket. Instead of turning your nose up and passing comment, either a) fuk off home before you end up getting a black eye for being a snob, or b) do the simple thing and join in.

I haven't heard a original chant come from that area yet, but at least they try, it's everyones fault. We do get behind the team it's just we don't have many 'chanters' I'd say more singers actually stand at the far end of the Millhouse.

exactly why we have decided to move. More craic in the mill house, and the town end is now over run with 10 year olds.

Pools away anyday!

Haven't heard I love to go a wandering for a long time..

Or even that old classic I wanna be a poolie ranger....¨

How about we resurect the "songs of the seventies thread" again ... At least it give them a bit more of an idea what to chant in the townend...

It was noisy when Neale Cooper was in charge. We had something to sing about then.

The crowd getting behind the team is a response, applause so to speak and is a reaction to events on the field. The spark has to come from the players on the field, they have to lead. Chanting for a team that doesn't respond is pointless, a bit like sex between two skeletons in a biscuit tin, plenty of noise but it'll never produce anything.

Home games never have a good atmosphere and if they do its very rare! Awaygames are so much better and are more enjoyable!

But from were I stand in the Town End the Mill House Terrace is totally silent, can't hear a thing, as you say Mouldy lack of cover probably accounts for that.
