I thought he was steady away last night, one nervy moment early doors when their winger got a run at him and he backed off but after that he was very solid. Id prefer Monky infront of him and a new right winger but that would mean IOR getting the cheque book out and that isnt going to be happening.

Yes steady away, he did nothing of brilliance but did his job well, it doesnt help having Matty BitBob infront of him and he is much more effective with Monky there. Why Carlisle didnt just get the right winger running at Ritchie all night is beyond me. If he has one weakness it is quick players going direct at him he backs off and backs off till they either cut inside and just run around him. His cover for the centre halfs at times though is excellent when he is sweeping up behind.

Actually, he did do two things of brillance last night, his two runs in the second half were excellent. He had a game to a standard i would expect a good left back to have.

Humphreys has been playing consistently well for a while.

What a load of fecking nonsense rolfl . He did better than usual last night, agreed, but it was what you would expect from him is it not?

He has been completely bobbins for the last dozen or so games so he was due an improved performance. He had a couple of 'runs' with the ball last night which has clearly stuck in peoples minds as its so unusual for him to contribute anything to the games! Yes, it was better than usual but nothing spectacular. He had plenty of dodgy moments as usual and whenever they decided to run (or should that be 'walk') at him they went past him like he wasnt there!!!

Its one thing saying about 'Ritchie haters' but the rest of you tossers on here want his babies. banghead banghead banghead

The Left Side seems sorted

I feel the same about the right.

Infact I feel more confident about the right.

I think Robson needs a Plan B though. Defenders seem to be sussing him out and we're not getting the same output from him.

'Tossers' how pleasant..........

I'm neither a lover or hater of any Pools player I just tend to watch the game objectively, he's a steady consistent performer for Pools.

he did nothing of brilliance

I disagree.
In one instance in the first half he won the ball in his own half, went on a brilliant run upfield beating a few players and laid off a great pass to Robson I think, who kicked it out for a throw in or some other waste of the ball.... [this snippet of info may well be inaccurate tho, my powers of concentration and noticing stuff isn't very good. I only just realised last night that the 4th official is sponsored by timmons opticians, which tickled me you see as the officials are notorious for having their eyesight called into question! apparantly they have been the sponsor for about 4 years.....anyhoo, I digress....]

He was also really unlucky not to score but for a truly brilliant save by their keeper. who said he was rubbish again???!! sadx

Made a change from Humphreys kicking it out for a throw in all game.
