We can thank that fooking cheating winger and a shite ref for that, since when is a tap on the ankles a booking? Kavangh got booked for the same thing (without our player doing a Triple Salco). Is it not a contact sport anymore? Is every foul a booking?

I bet the majority of Monkhouse's bookings this season have been for mindless lunges in unimportant areas of the field. Pathetic really and I'm sure he's going to break someone's leg one day.

To be fair monkhouse was rightly booked for that foul, had a Carlisle player doen the same to one of our players and not got booked, we would have been up in arms.

Kavanagh impressed me last night. A few times he got fouled and he could have made a meal of it but didnt. Its rare you see that in the modern game. He just got up, acknowledged our plaer and carried on. Oh, and he still had a bit of pace about him for someone who has got him buspass! He cought Matty numerous times

It was right in front of me and he tapped the lads ankles, the Carlisle player made it look like he'd spear tackled him.

agreed but there was no attempt to play the ball whatsoever and this usually gets a card these days.

He did try and nick the ball Ansiyah is quick and managed to get to it first.

Mistimed tackles attempting to win the ball get bookings as well, every foul unless it is a push these days the majority of the time result in a yellow card. I want to go back to the days when jawing someone got you a stiff reprimand.

I shouldn't worry: our new signing will fill in admirably for him during his suspension.
