On saying that I am amazed, if not foookin furious, that Pools have failed yet again to resolve the striker isssue before yet another important game. Hodcroft should be foookin ashamed if he is refusing to fund a transfer because of his prodigee Mackay.

Why else would we have gone so long without bringing in a striker?

The lad who was brought in a couple of weeks ago should get a chance because if Mackay continues he's going to become the new whipping boy for the crowd, and that's the last thing he needs as it's not his fault he's been put in a position were he is way out of his depth.

Well henderson will start up top, which is the only change from saturday. we could do with the 3 points big time, If we can manage 3 wins out of 3 it will surely get us bk in the hunt for a successful season potentially, however if we don't do so well it will obviously be a rather different story. Am i just stating the obvious?
