Actually Talbot is totally right .... for some reason, known only unto God, a plague of locusts has appeared and descended upon the board, nibbling away at anything and everything on a Biblical scale, what they lack in numbers, they more than make up for in frequency. They display an ignorance of the club and even more ignorance of the economics of football at this level.

ah but youre forgetting, they pay their money so they have a RIGHT to slag off the players, management and board. Or at least thats what they think anyway.

Some of them obviously dont realise that there is a difference between being pessimistic and being a negative prick who destroys what little fun there is left for the others.

You mean people with a difference of opinion? Who want a little more than to happily watch a club who in 100 years have achieved nowt.

Thats the trouble with people in this country, they are intolerant, you have got to be part of the gang , wear the same shirt, have the 4x4 and the bull terrier or else youre a weirdo.

Have you noticed these so called locusts always refrain from abusive language, unlike the sheep, its called intelligence.

Its good to be different. Dont let the sheep scare you from having an opinioin thats different to the majority. The sheep are always scared of change.

Behave yerself Ron.
Have you ever thought the reason your opinion is different from everyone else is because its wrong ?
Nobody is saying you have to take a rose tinted view or worship at the altar of IOR/Chris Turner or anything else, but some of the stuff on here lately has gone so far past negative its become destructive & is now starting to get on peoples tits.

its hardly intelligent to make such a sweeping statement without knowing the facts. Read most of my posts and you will find i disagree with most people on here about most things. So i aint a frigging sheep. And i still think youre a cock. Guess that means im unintelligent!

You know we are skint and that its hard to attract quality players to the vic, yet you demand success. What you and your other like minded fellows think are the mutterings of idiots

Go and watch Manchester United. Problem solved.

It is easy to suggest IOR need to go, but you don't say who will take us further. I can only see someone coming in who will take us backwards. Until we have someone who can quite clearly do better than IOR then I personally don't want to risk having another Garry Gibson.

Aren't you being the intolerant one? You don't seem to respect that the majority of people on this thread have a different opinion to yourself. Calling everyone sheep and without intelligence is still abusive language, despite you purporting that you haven't resorted to those tactics. You are showing a seemingly misplaced arrogance too.

As it has been said, Want to watch a club that wins week in week out, Then go watch Man United in the Prem. I'd imagine it gets dull eventually though!

I'm agreeing with the majority on this thread. This board has been over run by so much negativity its getting boring reading it, Thank god for the sane ones on here!!

I've been criticised for spouting some shite on here but that takes the biscuit -

thankfully you are not IOR - and that they dont re-act in such a petty way to innane postings (as many of you have called them) on an unofficial message board.

and whilst I'm on I guess I one of the bitter arseholes this thread was aimed at - well sorry I'm not bitter but passionate about Pools

I posted initially saying in my opinion Henderson wasnt the answer and as has been pointed out elswhere by Tree - I did not diss the player, the thread rambled on yes because I responded to the criticism levelled at my views and defended them, I always said I'd give the player a chance on the pitch.

Someone said on another thread god help us if the kids family or friends read the posts, so what - I dont think anyone said hes not a good player just not what we need right now - I know I didnt - and even if they had if the kids serious about making it as a pro then do you really think comments on fans site like this would bother him - I would hope not or he hasnt got a chance - look at Matty by his own admission he came back stonger . I woulld guess its the most the kids been discussed throughout his short career. Strange isnt it how attitudes change to what other people think - the thread on the Bradford fire were the views of people (about something much more serious than is he a good footballer or not) didnt seem to matter to many of you who posted. Talk about double standards.

So sorry to dissapoint you all but I'll be there tonight giving the lad every support as I will the rest of the team for the full 90 minutes (which is more than a lot of people do) and I hope I'm celebrating a Pools win and a goal for the new kid.
After I've seen what he has to offer then I'll give an honest opinion.

A bitter arsehole I am not - A pools fan with a point of view I am which obviously causes some of you concern

I do stand by my statement (pathetic in your opinion perhaps) which was 'I dont think he is what we need at the moment' how come I cant have an opinoin on not having seen him play when all the rest of you on here can have your view ALSO without having seen him play - double standards me thinks. I have not written him off where have I said that? It may be he is the next Ronaldo with similar skills but his age and experience may mean he is not what we need at the moment - I could have said that I would withold judgement but I opted not too, my choice because at that moment in time based on what I knew of him I (thats me) didnt think he was what we need at the moment

Oh and I see that the personal insults are back - I have a view and you dont agree yet I'm the idiot - I thought all the kids hung about on another board

FFS, for 100th time, nobody has expressed an opinion on the lad as we haven't seen him play just you. Nobody has said he's going to be brilliant.

Why can't you get that into your head!?

His belief is not that HE isnt the answer, just like he would think any other 19 year old isnt the answer. He is not bashing the lad, but would just like someone with more experience. FFS!

what a load of shit. we're now arguing about semantics, when anyone with half a brain a grasp of basic english can see that posters like reefmonkey/ronaldo et al are just sitting in their bedrooms by candlelight in their y-fronts, spitting bile and negativity at everything and anything they can, just so they don't feel as inadequate as usual.

THE BOTTOM LINE IS THE PEOPLE ON THE HALF FULL SIDE ARE PREPARED TO KEEP AN OPEN MIND ABOUT WHAT THIS YOUNG LAD CAN BRING, WHEREAS THE SHIT-SMEARED GLASSES CREW AREN'T EVEN WAITING TIL HE KICKS A BALL FOR US BY PRONOUNCING HE'S NOT THE ANSWER stpid

However you bunch of back-tracking bastads try to put, you couldn't wait to get on here to whinge that Turner/the club/IOR are somehow letting you down. if you want to feel let-down, try and imagine how your parents feel

treewithdisorder is just a wind-up.

Here we go again with the personal insults -

but you have hit the nail on the head - some people will always see the glass half full, some half empty - in all walks of life on all subjects but what your problem is, is that you cant accept the opposing viewpoint - neither one is correct - neither is wrong its just how people are and that doesnt make inadequate

why are you coming out with stuff like 'mob' ? i'm not part of any mob, i have my own opinions and don't follow anyone else's lead.

don't start feeling victimised just because you've expressed an opinion that a lot of people disagree with. its a messageboard not organised flying picketing.

The sheep are always scared of change.

thats me fooked then
what about a jack russell with his nuts cut off to stop him shagging everything does that count

A) sorry Mr Parmo, i might join you soon and block out the twat
B) Mr Reef, i am not stating the opposite of you otherwise i would be saying he IS the answer to our problems. I am saying i will see him over 90 mins or so and then make a judgement based on that, the fact that you have stated what you did means you have already judged him........in 3 hours time we could all be sitting here agreeing that he is not the answer, however, i for one, will not decide either way until 9:35........and even then, thats still too early to made a REASONED judgement of the lad.

Well you were right its after 10:00 and still too early to make a judegement, why? because he didn't even start the game - how can that be as he according to the majority on here he is better than what we have with the exception of Joel, even though no one had seen him play. Yet everyone assumed he would be starting tonight. Perhaps the manager believes he's no better than Mackay after all he will have seen him play and preferred to start with Mackay up front who the majority on here think is a non league player!

Credit were credits due he did have one decent shot at goal in the ten minutes he got on the pitch, thankfully Joel is still here and three points in the bag rolf

And then again, perhaps the manager doesn't believe anything of the sort.
