There's a thread on Rivals announcing that Toothless has died from cancer. I had no idea he was ill. It kind of puts a game of football into perspective.

RIP Toothy.

Was very sorry to hear about Toothless. I didn't know him but he always sounded a smashing bloke.
Is there any chance of arranging a collection for his family, via the Bunker?

Sure, or maybe a nice wreath for the funeral.

Can someone in the town find out when it is? We'll also need his proper name - I' know he's called Rob but nothing else.

If he was known as Toothless on the web then it might be nice to put that on a wreath, espec if its coming from another website
RIP

I remember reading awhile back that he was ill, it was an argument with some loid or other.
What a shame he lost his battle.

RIP

RIP toothy! Didn't see eye to eye with him some of the time - but it couldn't be denied he was a commited Poolie

Agree we should do something - wreath or a donation (probably to cancer research) if it's family flowers only

Anyone know his real name?

Phil ?- you seem to know everyone

Aye we are. A decent wreath is about £50 - £60.

We need someone to take responsibility, preferable Hartlepool based. Also we need details of where and when the funeral is.

Shocked and saddened to hear about toothless.

I had the pleasure of meeting him in The Raglan before the derby in October. A really nice bloke, and Poolie through and through. I just can't believe it.

RIP toothless.

I believe the Darlo Rivals lot are also trying to organise a wreath, he was well thought of on both sides of the divide.

Yup, me too. If there's one thing that gives me no pleasure to read, it's news like this.
I don't really give a toss when people like Crocodile Dundee kick the bucket but this hurts bad.

Very sad news indeed!
Condolences go to his family and friends!

I'm sure he will be in good company with Messrs. Hornsey, Baggs and Mullen. Judging from his many posts he will no doubt be logging onto that big Poolie message board in the sky.

Toothless RIP
