...team as such. We've had some crap teams here this season and we lack the will and the guile to put them in their place because thay came and scrapped and fought as a team, our reaction, the puzzled look of players who've just realised they really have been relegated and it's all too much for the darlings. WELL YOU HAVE, COME TO TERMS WITH IT AND GET DOWN TO DOING WHAT YOU GET PAID FOR.
Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, all I see are a bunch of football playing contractors going through the motions and totally lacking the will to get in and mix it with the opposition...some call it lack of confidence, well the only way to get it back is to fight for it back and I don't see that, all I seem to see lately is the flag of surrender, when the going gets tough,......they bottle it.
Just for once, I'd love to see players on the pitch who care and are willing to fight for the club, proud of their shirt, not lethargic prima donas on 60% cruise setting .................

All footballers are mercenaries....possibly with the exception of a few.
I've met lots of pro footballers down the years, and they've always given the impression that its "just a job".
Theres no loyalty in football, players will play for whoever is paying the most dosh confised
