working down here in huntingdon, nost people at work support the posh with my boss being a season ticket holder, on break the other day were on about forwards in our division and he was suprised that we dont have a decent striker (other than joel) since adam boyd. They all rave about mackal-smith and boyd down here, made me wonder were on our limited recources we are going to get a 15-20 goal a season player sctatchinghead

For me what's happening at Posh is quite refreshing, yes it's a millionnaire splashing cash around that the club couldn't otherwise afford to spend. But at least the players they are bringing in are on the whole the stars of non league who are desperate to make it as professional footballers, not the usual money grabbing journeymen who's agents are straight on the phone as soon as they see a decent sized commission for themselves.

As a business plan it looks like it may work as well, I think they paid 400k for the keeper, but have already had bids of 2m for him.

I would say we already have TWO 15-20 goal players on the books. Sadly one of them is out for the rest of the season. The other one should still comfortably get 15-20 though
