matty tymon injured,do you think if we don't bring anyone in by friday it's time to give him a go in the first team,i mean we are down to the bare essentials,i know some will say if he makes a mistake and the boo boys get on his back it could damage his confidence but we have to take a chance on him sooner or later,so those who have seen the reserves do you think he is ready?

Your not mistaken, he was on the bench.

I agree with the original post, give him a chance.

Back to reality with Foley back to the bench or is it Mackay to the bench?

Maybe we can have Tymon and a new signing up front on Friday night?

i was just thinking if the wizard of aus is still not fit why not try tymon and mackay together with foley on the bench,i mean they have played together in the reserves and might have some sort of understanding,i know it is cloud cuckoo land but what else is there if we don't get anybody else in

Those who have been to the reserves regularly seem to think he isn't quite ready.

If we haven't signed anyone and Joel isn't fit for Friday (which by all account he said on Pools World on Friday) then I would start with Monkhouse and Foley. I seriously hope this isn't the case though.

If we haven't signed anyone and Joel isn't fit for Friday (which by all account he said on Pools World on Friday) then I will probably stay at home and keep an extra 40-50 quid in my pocket.

Then slag off all the 'part timers' when you don't get a ticket for the 5th round because you haven't got enough stubs?

If you are being charged 40-50 quid to get in ripper you need to report this to the club, that's ridiculous.

£18 for a ticket
£6 for taxis into / out of town
£12 pre-match beers in Mill
£2 pre-match beer in ground
£2 pie or burger
£2 half-time beer in ground
£6 post-match beers in Mill

Soon adds up.

BOO HOO. surely you dont need that much beer. only have one pint before the game £2, dont get one in the ground at half time or before the game. Get the bus into / out of town £4 max, have you tea before you go then you wont need a pie & Burger. End of £24 i make that

I think you're all missing the point.

It's not that I can't afford it, it's the fact that I don't necessarily think that they are worth or deserve my entrance money if they are planning on turning out a forward line of Mackay and Foley.

As for "bus"? You're having a laugh, right? stpid
