by friday? is this the case or just false hope. anyone any ideas on who these new signings might be? :roll:

I posted the original thread, and have absolutely no reason to doubt my source, though whether it comes to fruition is anyone's guess.

A name mentioned was Darryl Duffy, but doesnt he come up every transfer window.

Another mentioned though more through speculation, than with any sort of evidence is Peter Hartley (centre back/left back) Currently has the squad number 29 with Sunderland and is their reserve team captain. Information, which probably leading to the speculation that he may be one of the signings is that he lives in Hartlepool. Was on loan last season at Chesterfield,made 12 appearences.

Bizarre, I've just been reading his profile on the Barnsley official site, he's struggled for goals ever since he joined Barnsley. Scored a few for Cheltenham though.

I'm going to put some of that post together, coloured forward Watford player (though I think he out on loan at moment to Derby) and Northerner
