Quality question sent in to Pools World by Mr Gaunt, asking Joel who has been his favourite manager during his time at Pools.

Despite all the conspiracy theories and rubbish posted on this board, it came as quiet a shock that Joel Porter said his favourite manager during his time at Pools was......

I've worked for a few managers over the years, but becuse I liked them, doesn't mean they were any good at the job. You'll find it's the 'bastards' who'll get the best out of you, you don't necessarily have to like your boss to produce your best work.

agree which is probably why the cooper & scott partnership was so fruitful

I had a long chat with Joel, at Redcar races, last summer. This answered question didnt concur, remotely, with what he said back then. :laugh:

That was last year, at lot has clearly changed since then. His answer was on honest one, he had no reason to lie. He was asked outright who his favourite manager was, he said Danny Wilson, FACT!
