That 3 possibly 4 new players in by Friday. No reason to doubt it.

Name mentioned once again Darryl Duffy, though he not really set the world alight over the last couple seasons.

we need the boost of new faces desperately, or else we will sink without a trace. We miss Brown and Porter up front and for a club like us that is nothing short of an unmitigated catastrophic nuclear disastrous crisis.

I've thought for a long time that the administrators and their bosses at Pools know f-uck all about the game of football itself

So how come they've done a pretty decent job over the past 10 years then? Better than anybody who has run this football club before, EVER!

IOR have, but they do seem to employ admin staff who are as bright as midnight!

The Old Ham game should never have been re-arranged so quickly, we are as weak as piss when it comes to things like this, it should of been put off for as long as was 'legally' possible!

Hope you are right. But lets get real here, they should already be in place. Any club that had a brain, or actually cared, would not have let itself drop three point slike it did last night.

If Oldham get into the paly offs by 3 points, i would be pissed off if I was there closest rival, if I knew Hartlepool played a game against them with no strikers.

Its a disgrace. Utter contempt by the club towards its own fans.

exactly, who the fook makes these decisions? i get the feeling he looks something like this

Lets put this into a little bit of context. We are 14th in League One and in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

We've beaten two Premiership teams this season, we've lost three home league games this season, we are the highest home goal scorers in our division.

A member of this board who knew we'd be replaying the Oldham game on Monday night before the club or any other source announced it has posted this morning that we will have 3 or 4 new players before Friday's home game, ignore all this though, you carry on ranting to make yourself feel a bit better.

I will certainly carry on ranting, until I see some investment. You carry on with your head in the sand. And keep being roundly shafted up the arse.

If you dont like the ranting, dont read. Its easy.

So you knew we'd be playing Oldham? So fookin what? Its was stiull a foookin stupid decision. Surely even you, with rose tinted specs can see that?
you sound like the spoilt child who is kicking and screaming until it gets what it wants. Is this the result of ten years of relative success? Unfortunately it seems like it is.

Thats fat fingers through and through, a few weeks ago he was agreeing with the club not splashing the cash due to the 'credit crunch'......

Pools tried to have the game rearranged much later, the FA ordered them to play it to avoid "fixture pile up" FACT
So for once not Pools Admin fault - for once!! I agree about some of them being as bright as midnight

utter and total shyte.

since when did the FA have any say in what happens in the football league ? they administer the FA Cup and thats about it.

if the football league could "force" pools to replay the game last night why didnt they force the other 40 odd clubs who had games postponned at the weekend to play last night ?

The only valid argument could be they looked into their crystal ball and saw we managed a draw against the Hammers.....

I would guess that Oldham wanted to play the game last night, Pools didn't want to so it was up to the Football League to decide.

Duff can go and fook spiders in my opinion he has went to every other club bar us now he has come to the end of the line he will consider us. NO THANKS.

if true.

I thought Swansea simply offered more money to Hull, did we ever have a bid accepted? He signed for them on loan when they were playing in a higher division, a move which you couldn't blame him for. What's the point in cutting your nose off to spite your face? The only questions that need asking are; can he do a job for us? and; is he better than what we've got?
