To be fair to PoK, the lad probably thought it was a massive wind up and i don't blame him for being apprehensive.

I know he brings a lot of the abuse on himself but the majority on here including myself see him as a wind up merchant and jump on everything he posts, he probably thinks we are the last people that would help him out.

I also think he was very ungrateful regarding Fetish Bobs offer and doesn't deserve to be helped out, not many people would let a total stranger in the house to use the toilet let alone give them a bed for the night.

I don't think we have been harsh on him. I've always got the impression he loves to wind people up. PoK, if I have upset you, I'm sorry. It's just banter!

I dunno, regardless of the offer it just seemed like it wasn't real and that it was a wind-up in itself. If he took it, someone could've turned round and laughed at him. If not, he'd get barracked for not taking them seriously.

I pm'ed him to say it was serious offer. I know his cousin TPP well and travel to most games with him, so I didnt have a problem putting him up.

I did get P****d off when I said he had to feed himself and he said would look elsewhere. I even Pm'ed him to say by that meant evening meal. I wasnt going to begrudge someone tea/coffee and bit breakfast( which I told him as well) And there are enough takeaways to get a night meal I wasnt cooking that for him.

He therefore knew the offer of the bed was genuine.

I agree he can seem a wind up merchant but that part of this board, and Iam guilty of it as well.

Maybe POK just happens to be busy & will be back as usual shortly.
Many of us would have no problem accepting the offer of a bed or couch from someone we have only spoken to on here,but POK is still pretty much a child & I get the impression that hes not the most outgoing personality so probably apprehensive of being up here with any of us lot on his own.
Bob,theres no need to get pissed offf,Im sure telling him he wouldn't be fed wasnt the reason he declined your offer,I reckon he just got cold feet & would have refused the same offer from any of us.
