Me and my mates tried to take a 'shortcut' through a some Dutch fellas garden to get to the match

He pointed us in the right direction and was very nice, considering we knackered one of his flowerbeds!

Now then KM , hope you are keeping well. The use of initials is to protect your identity , though it seems mine is becoming common knowledge. Of course it was you who introduced me to both the Rafa and Greensides lads through getting me a seat on the bus that went to Hull in the Group Cup in August 81. I was forever booking up on the supporters bus only for it to be cancelled due to lack of numbers.Thing is you never told me the bus was stopping off in Scarborough on the way back for a stag night. I was the only one who didnt have a pair of rousers, course in those days you needed trousers or strides as u poolies call them to get into the most godforsaken nightclub. One of the lads on the bus was wearing trousers to the match ( strange days for fashion the 80s) as well as having a pair for the nite so I got a lend of them, even though they were just above my ankle it done the job. The lad in question is not with us now GOD BLESS! . I was a 16 yr old yakker in strange company, but was looked after that day. I am indebted to you for that K. Remember watching the Youth team in 80/81 at Blackhall , me , you , Alby and Dan, great crack was had on them cold wet mornings as the intermediate team swept away all before them.
