HUFC story so far in the FAC......

First Round winners £20,000
Second Round winners £30,000
Third Round winners £75,000 + The FA Radio Fees £9,000
The FA Television Fees, Live Broadcast - Fourth Round £160,000

Total = £294,000
(These figure does not including gate, corporate income etc)

The FA Prize Fund Fourth Round winner gets £100,000, so either us or West ham will get this. That could push the basic figure up to £394,000 without even thinking of the 5th round game..

We didn't get proper highlights on TV in Round 3, just goals.

you might also find that we may not get money for winning round 1, 2 if we have won round 3.

it will more likely than not be this is how far you got, this is your prize money for the last round you won

The FA state that the fees are for "payments in each round this season" . Otherwise teams that enter and win in round 3 would earn the same as a team that wins right through from the 1st quaifying round.

Cummulative attendances for all tie so far arounf 15,000 so say average of £10 ticket (concessions/adults) thats £150K of which I think we get one third with the opposition and FA also picking up a third each so thats another £50K to add in plus potentially say another £20-25K from the WH game if we get around 7000 in the ground

I'd imagiine we'd also get some radio coverage again with the early KO Five live plus local radio as well - so maybe another £10K there and will we also get tv highlights fess even though its the live game

It's better than that. In the 1st and 2nd round it's a 50/50 split between the clubs. From 3d round onwards it's 45/45/10 between the clubs and the FA's pool. This pool is divided between all FA Cup participents at the end of the competition. For replays it's something like 42½/42½/10/5 with the odd 5% being divided among all the non-league clubs that reached the 1st round.

But its been a shite draw and a shite comp so far, according to the 'Loids

The daft bounders!!!!

The loids idea of a demolition job (as we did to Stoke) is which stand to take down -

with a bit of luck our cummulativie cup tie attendances will be more than Darlows total home attendances for the whole season

Ideally we will draw with West Ham, then beat them at Upton Park.

To be fair the FA Cup has been very kind to Darlo, prize money won zilch, gate money from both ties when split 50 50 around 21k minus traveling costs, wages and running costs leaves them with about nowt. clappp

But they are right we have had shite luck with our ties ect.

Second Round Highlights of £7,500 have not been added to the list, so this would take the Total figure to £301,500
(Figure above do not including gate, corporate income, ground outlet sales etc) These figures are impossible to correlate unless you have access to all the data.

So working of the basis figure £301,500 & the reason for the post since no one picked up on it?
Could this revenue not help towards sign players to strengthen the team? I’m sure the club never budgeted for this windfall, as the 3rd, 4th round games clashed with our fixture list.

we're down more than 1000 fans a home game - it will not even cover this over the course of the season

23 home games x an average of £10 x 1000(if thats the right figure) totals £230k so it will more than cover it - and thats assuming the gates dont pick up a bit in the second half of the season

The club operates on the proviso of not spending what they don’t have? The revenue from the FA Cup run was totally unexpected and that is what lm basing the question on.

For you to say this will not cover the loose of the gate funds? The season is only at the half way point, have you thrown in the towel already. We might be in the 5th round and earn another £100,000 yawn1

Yeah I got that wrong must be more than £10 but I doubt it will be £15 as that assumes we have one full paying supporter for every concession which I dont think will be right I reckon we get more concessions in the ground kids and wrinklies like me more like 2:3 so maybe £13 average taking concessions and recuctions on terraces

wonder if the club have the stats and will they share they must know the general ratios
