Cloverfield - Decent film, first 20 mins is a bit dull & the guy behind the handicam as the adventure starts can be a bit annoying. A bit long, but decent enough of a watch.

No Country For Old Men - Not heard a bad thing about this film, have it myself, but not got round to watching it.

There Will Be Blood - Fantastic film, Daniel Day Lewis is outstanding. A long film at nearly 3 hours - but doesn't feel it. Has to be watched in complete isolation with no distractions.

Sweeney Todd - Enjoyed it very much. It is a musical, but with it being a Tom Burton film - it's a good one.

3:10 To Yuma - Not seen.

Hancock - Again, not seen, but I understand the first half is very good, descends into usual super-hero stuff for the last half. Worth a watch, I understand.

Cloverfield is best experienced in the cinema or with a really good home set up, I thought the DVD lost a bit because of this.

Good fillum though...and nothing like Godzilla.

The rest are all good buys if you haven't seen them.

Godzuki was shit, as was Scrappy in Scooby Doo. And I hated Booboo on Yogi Bear too.

Why did cartoon makers insist on having crap characters like these? it makes me think of the shouty bloke in the Sugarcubes, ruining perfectly good performances.

go to http://www.imdb.com

The ratings on there are normally pretty accurate.
