I've just left the following comment;

"Stoke City reserves? Can you please back up this ridiculous claim? Every one of the 14 players who featured for Stoke have played in the Premiership this season and it was a side they have paid in excess of twenty three million pounds for, compare that to the cost of Hartlepool's team (without several first team players) The team was changed mainly due to injury and suspension and our result is worthy of far more credit than your lazy article gives us.

Pulis paid the competition far more respect than the truly odious Sam Allardyce who DID field his reserve team making eleven changes at Blyth."

If they don't put it on I'm going to get medieval on Shreeves in the next one :laugh:

dictatorship and censorship is still alive and kicking in the media, especially the telly. They won't print or transmit what they don't like to hear, especially if it means putting them right.
They won't like that - oh no. That simply won't do - you'll be classed as an upstart who knows nothing because you're just a lower league footy fan. After all, what do you know compared to the muppet-voiced Peter Shreeve?

For me, they can say and write what they want, the record books will just say that we won and there'll be no mention of weakened teams or any other such nonsense when they're looked at in years to come. :wink:

He's right though isn't he? Most of those Stoke players probably have played more reserve team football than first team football.

Not that it was Tony Pulis choice to play that side, from what I could gather suspensions and injury forced he to play that side.

I wouldn't expect people who only watch the Premiership to realise we where far from full strength either.

Pulis had that team in on Sunday because he was so annoyed with them, that tells me all I need to know.

I also read that it was the most attack minded midfield Stoke have played all season and it won't be far short of the side to play them other Scouse scallies Liverpool.

I don't give a fuck what Geoff Shreeves thinks. I know the truth and that's all that matters.
