And in it he says....'For the 82-83 season the shirts incorporated a pin stripe and the logo of the Club's first sponsor, Crown Paints'!!!!

Now I hated Liverpool with a passion when I was a kid and never really took much notice of them but I'm certain their first shirt/club Sponsor was 'Hitachi' and I'm almost certain that it was at least 1 maybe 2 years before 1982 and it definetly didn't have a pin stripe on the shirt when it was 'Hitachi'....it was plain red!!!! confised confised

For some reason that sponsor has always stuck in my head....the same goes for Arsenal with 'JVC'!!!! confised

Is Rushy right or is Mutley???? sctatchinghead sctatchinghead :grin:

PS....the book is very good upto now!!!! :coool: :grin:
