And when I they hammered and embarrass themselves I hope they don't use the "well they are a Premiership side" excuse.

It is on BBC National Radio though.

Look, if the players and staff know what's right, they'll work their damnedest to make sure they put in at least a performance to be proud of against Stoke, because they'll feel that after today, they owe us.

Thank Fook it's a 1pm kick off, I'm working until 2. I don't think I will be rushing to get there for the last half hour.

You mean like they did yesterday after owing us one from Scunthorpe?

Anyone seen any odds for us against Stoke yet?

After yesterday, surely things can only get better. Would you take them to win if they were 10-1 or something like that?

Southend are 25/1 against Chelsea, we should be a minimum 10/1

Giving money away stoke should be at least 1/3 but by keeping hartlepools odds down stokes are up.I know its hard to bet against your own team but there is money to be made here.

We all might as well take ropes and grappling hooks to go over the wall as the team comes out if he's playing ....surely not?

Stoke fan here in peace.

Why the pessimism? We have one fit striker he goes by the name of Vincent fookin Pericard. So I'm too sure it will not be a cake walk. We're pants away from home too so anything could happen. I think it'll be 1-1, I'm not looking forward to this one I must admit!

Jamie, look at opposition view down the forum a bit, they make the wrist slashers on the moancake look like rank amateurs mate.

I've told them that Vinny is a danger to himself, but they still think we will piss it.

Well, I for one hope you don't "piss it". I'm hoping that if the right Hartlepool United turn up we at least give you a decent game.

I myself think we do have the ability on its day to beat you or take you back to the Britannia.

Stoke fan in peace gents. Don't be so pessimistic, we have Pericard up front as Fuller went and made a twat of himself and could potentially have cost us alot of points in the future. There is no worse player to ever put on a Stoke shirt than Vincent Pericard. We have a tendancy to lose to lower league opposition, I'm not confident at all. Pulis is likely to put out a weakened team as well and if he does then we deserve all we get.
Can anyone reccommend a decent away friendly pub for match day?
Thanks.

Get yourselfs into the Millhouse, from the away end go through the club car park then across the public car park less than a 5 minute walk, you will find many posters from here in there
