...demo against Wilsons alleged 'sacking'....the natioanl press turned up, helicopters were in the air and a tense stand off ensued as riot police, the SAS, SBS and the Dagenham Girl Pipers endured the loooooooong wait, sweat running down their tense faces as they nervously anticipated the coming maelstrom ....... the arrival of the mighty POK, righter of injustice .... and fook all happened

If I lived up there and was able to get the ground, I still would have protested.

It's not so much now the fact that that the board sacked Wilson that worries me now, it's the fact that Mr. Hodcroft sacked three managers in the last six years without at least giving a clear explanation to the fans as to why he went, becaise as we know from the past, it isn't necessarily for footballing reasons that a manager has been sacked.

After Paul Ince was sacked, the Blackburn manager gave a press interview the next day and clearly outlined that he didn't think Ince was capable of the task, which is fine, because that is then his honest opinion.

This doesn't mean to say however that in my heart, I can't protest about the decision. I will as always support the team tomorrow, but I am still protesting the decision.

And that's why our country is great - because every person has the right to express themselves freely, whatever their opinion - or so I thought....

He can do whatever he likes, because IOR have ploughed around £12million into the club and you have put in about £6.72

PS

Wilson deserved the boot if he had lined up another job, what price loyalty, peanut brain

But this is the third time, despite IOR bringing huge successs and money to the club like we've never had before, that Hodcroft has parted company with a maanger in the last six years.

First IOR terminated Newell's contract, presumably for throwing away the title, but did they come and say anytthing, no.
Then they sack Cooper before we make the play-offs, various rumouirs, but again nothing.
Now Wilson's left, the media are using language like sacking, but did Hodcroft say nowt. No.

So you don't think that IOR should have been loyal to a man who had helped to get Pools promoted and bring something the club has never really had in its history: STABILITY.....after re-elections, relegation, the tax man etc ?

but danny was only responsible for 1 promotion and 1 season in L1
cooper brought more stability than danny

Is that we only regard physical progress as stabillity, not stability like physical establishment in a division ?
