I dont miss him, nor do I miss going to the games anymore. (im not going crazy no)
Why should i pay to watch 'pros' 'play' football. There is no effort by all accounts and im not going to pay £20 plus all other costs to watch a bunch of no good players strut about a field.

Give answers you two and not just " sctatchinghead " & " sctatchinghead stpid "

its a bit difficult to be a full time supporter for me, i've got lots of stuff on most weekends so to travel up to Hartlepool is a bit of a no go confised

of course everyone is a pools suppoter when they are winning, its the way people work...... how many supporters did man utd have before the Premier League was introduced? im going to guess it was a whole lot less than when they won the 1st prem title??

PJ - it was a question it wasnt a statement of fact! just answer it or dont, dont get smart and be pretentious.

the beauty of supporting a lower league club for me was always in the effort and commitment, even if sometiomes the skill was lacking. When the skill and the effort are both lacking, then it is no surprise people don't want to turn up to watch. I would love to be good enough to be out there, but I'm not and I never was. So the players have to realise this - why don't they realise this? Yes some like Porter do, but too many of the players don't, and they just go through the motions and take the easiest option if it's available. Nobody wanted to take hold of the game by the scruff of the neck like Mark Tinkler could - no leadership and no setting examples (other than Porter for the equaliser - the rest of the team should have followed his lead but they just didn't step up a gear at all). There was little or no determination to stop the other team from scoring yesterday, but there seemed to be fear and anxiety. This comes from not being mentally strong enough and looking at each other for guidance - instead of trying to be that person who shows the way. Without Boland we don't have anyone in the team strong enough mentally to carry it off. That's what disappoints me about this bunch of players - there are certainly enough talented individuals but when it goes wrong they are mentally weak. I don't like that.

There is undoubtedly quality in the squad, they need to to told that they can do it, its not helping when 90% of the crowd is on their back like but if your 4-1 down to a team that hasnt won away from home all season how can you not be down in the dumps as a player as the worst team in the league at the minute have turned Hartlepool over. When that last text came in from the club i laughed at it and deleted it.

In the tinkler era we had loads of players who could control a game or change the pace of it, even lesser ability players like strachan could make one pass, thats all it needs, that changes a game.

We have no one like that now.

How i'd love a Stevo, Miller, Strachan type in that team now.

Well Matty Robson didn't even play in Turners last spell (apart from one LDV game) he was just a kid in the youth team, he made his league debut under Cooper at Peterborough in the 4-3 game. I'd struggle see where anyone has ever 'victimised' Matty Robson!?

I apologise for coming across like that but you do come out with some strange stuff to say the least!
