they are a Championship quality side so I expected defeat today - it's games like Sunday's match that we have to win over the course of the season. We'll beat Crewe I'm sure

Frustrating.

Just weren't in with a shout today. Didn't deserve to lose 3-0 by the way the game sounded - didn't even sound like a contest, a game. Would have accepted Scunthorope being slightly better than us today but not 3-0 - that's ridiculous.

Undoes all the good work done Friday night and all.

And we should have had a penalty as well - but we didn't because the refereeing in this League is S.H.1.T !

They are anything but Championship quality!
But to their credit they don't do comedy defending.

Nope, the reason we didn't is there was no way it was a penalty. Mackay needs more diving lessons.
Mind, theirs might not have been either - I can't say. It was dark at that end of the pitch.

Gutless performance from pools today. Embarrassing at times.

That's how it came across, listening to Pools World. I've just heard that Colin Calderwood has been sacked by Nottingham Forest - a possible contender?

Someone summed it up in another thread, they ran the midfield. Always seemed to have an extra man. Second goal looked some of the worst defending Ive ever seen from where we were sat!

Well, I am sorry Mutley but that's how I feel when Football League refereeing has been screwing HUFC since the dawn of time.

I displayed that post and I can't believe I actually agree with POK about anything, but regardless of how poor or not we are, that statement about refs and officials in general towards Pools is 100% true. We are below several League Two teams in the pecking order of football decisions awarded on the field. If the ball is repeatedly given to one side because of the ref, then you have no chance of winning in any case.
