Jimmy Carl Black (the Indian of the band) passed away at the weekend. He was the drummer for Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention and also played in a number of other bands including being in the Magic Band, Captain Beefhearts band - who he played live with but never recorded with.

He'd been ill, suffering from cancer for some time and recently had operations to remove tumours. He was living in Germany.

On Sunday 9th November the band I play in 'That Legendary Wooden Lion' will be playing a benefit gig for Jimmy with Thurstaon Lava Tube, The Muffin Men (who Jimmy used to drum with) and Fraz Knapp at the Bridge House, Canning Town (East London).
The gig was planned several months ago to help Jimmy pay his medical bills - the money raised will now go to his widow.

RIP Jimmy

That's why I'm not participating in this thread, in theory anyone could choose any person likely to die, even babies...I only put it on there to see whwthere anybody had on their list.

That's why I don't play this game.

Jesus, you really aren't right are you!?

It's celebrity deadheads for a start and those poor bairns were hardly celebrities were they? It would be easy if it wasn't, I'd going for me Uncle Arthur, as he has angina. But then this game would be fooking sick wouldn't it? It's black humour granted but you are pretty thick if you are unaware you are crossing a line posting that stpid
