I wont be able to post on here for a while as Im moving house today and the new place wont have internet access for a while.

I know you will all be extremely gutted and it may seem cruel of me to spoil your christmas like this but Im afraid it cannot be helped. I will still be able to get onto the board using my mobile phone but it will be too fiddly sharing my wisdom with you all.

Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and all that bollocks. (oh and PoK, I hope Santa brings you all you have asked for!)

We moved house around this time last year..........absolute nightmare, we were still living out of boxes up till a fortnight ago!!

I've told the wife we're not moving for another 5 years at least if we ever do decide to shift, and if we do it will be hopefully into a bungalow. I'll be cracking on a bit by then, see.

I keep hearing this quote in various reports but come on, is moving house really the most stressful thing you can do? If its true you've had a very quiet life.

We went to see this house,decided we wanted it,made an offer & moved in 16 days later,no stress at all.

moving house is nothing just ask the loids,their houses have wheels so they are always moving (i apologise for this rivals type post)

Exactly mate, thats the sort of thing I meant. My stresses are fairly well documented and yours are clear to see reading the above. Each of us have been through something that ranks well above packing a few boxes. A lot on here will have lost family members, others will have lost jobs or have been on the breadline or beyond. I don't get it with moving house, wheres the grief?

Last time we moved, Chris went into hospital to have No. 2 son on the Friday. I was left in charge of the move, which was called off on the Friday afternoon, because our buyer hadn't come up with the money. That was sorted late in the afternoon, and the move was back on for Saturday morning. I spent the weekend sorting the house, along with a couple of visits to the Hospital, to admire our new addition. Then on the Monday Chris and the new baby came home. I did a fair bit of running around, but I knew I'd had the easier weekend!
