Are you happy or sad about his departure. It seems to be split down the middle...

mixed for me, he had his faults, but still thought he was capable of sorting things out. Depends on the circumstances though

100% sad and angry. This is the worst decision HUFC have made since they sacked Cooper before the last day of the season.

It does not make any sense whatsoever, despite the results. Wilson was at his best a great manager for us.

I feel tempted to my shoes at Ken Hodcroft.

at his best he was yes, but his 'best' was 2 year ago in a lower division, we have shown signs of being a good team by winning 4 in a row, but that was followed by 6 without a win....

PoK, I have tolerated you much more than others on here but anyone who attends the games can see that danny has lost the dressing room. You clearly do not have a clue what you are talking about. I assume you must simply read the rose tinted reviews of our matches on pools world and assume all is rosy when it clearly isnt.

Our players have no idea where they are meant to be playing, danny's signings have been poor, our defence is at times laughable and he signed 2 unproven goalkeepers for our season back in league 1. He will not be missed.

Despite the fact he won promotion....

I agree with you about the problems with the defence and the singings, but I was more than prepared to give him more time.

Although i think you over exaggerate things a lot, you are a hell of a lot closer to the 'real' situation than POK is

He has lost the plot since last season as look at his team against yeovil

Sweeney probably one of the best attacking midfielders in the divison-RB
Porter- leading goalscorer and best forward- RW
Liddle- Leading star a few years ago but out of position on the wing-LM
Robson- loves to run at defenders, limited at LB
Mackay- Why is he even playing, no better than conference level
Foley- give him credit he was good against Hereford but hes not good enough
Kyle- doesnt try a 100% and always moans, always got full games
Rowell- Why is this lad never playing as he was accoodinly outstanding in the centenary tournament and was probably our best player against Hereford

Then over the season

ALB- Constant errors in goal but is never dropped
Brown- played out of position on the right hand side

Overall every week there is at least 3 players playing out of position and thats why we are in mid table and we have not improved our squad from last year to push for the playoffs

I'd be happier if I was confident on a decent name coming in to perk things up.
we're more likely to get someone from queen of the south

mixed feelings for me, he pissed me off a fair bit, but with the resources available he wasn't doing a hugely bad job maybe cutting it fine at times but he has always seemed to get a result when 1 more defeat would have probably seen fans calling for his head ala scotty style. I dont think theres many managers who will do massively better than wilson with the squad we have.

Yeah, and my first duty would be to appoint Danny Wilson as my assistant manager - I would then resign as manager and recommend that Danny would become manager in my place. rolfl

Eh? Add the "Mixed Feelings" and the "Sads" together, and it's more than the happys....Conclusive??? My arse.

Eh? Mixed means that they can see positives of getting rid but can also see negatives.

They should be discounted leaving the 'happys' and 'sads'. The results are weighted towards the 'happys'

Look at the 3 bars at the top of your screen and see how they are weighted towards happy

I felt he'd probably gone as far as he could with the club. I just hope our new choice of n=manager will not be a backwards step.

As of this moment only 14% of 63 people voting are unhappy that he has gone. Surely that tells a story?

I have mixed feelings too. I wasn't expecting him to last beyond the end of the season but certainly wasn't expecting his sacking when it happened.

no mixed feelings for me.
I never liked him from the start, even shouted Wilson out early doors when we got stuffed 3 nowt off someone at home prior to the unbeaten run.

I am fucking delighted he's gone, the miserable passionless cunting dognoncer that he is/was.

At the time I had mixed feelings, I didn't think he deserved to go but him staying didn't excite me as we are going to be mid table, I doubt we'd have gone down.

Having looked at the odds and the people putting their names forwards...if someone like Steve Howey, that manager who was sacked from Huddersfield, Peter Beardsley, Alan Shearer and others who don't fill me with confidence get it then I will be devastated.
