"It's important that we get the fans back on our side, stop this side, win a few football games and see where we can go from there and try to make a charge for the play-offs"

"Danny spoke to me after he met the Chairman and told me he was quite happy for me to be in charge"

"I am not sure how long temporary means yet, but if as long as the Club want me, I'll be at the Club"

He said that the fans were the most important people at every football club. He obviously meant except at Hartlepool . If we are so important how come the club treat us with such disregard when it comes to giving information. We all know that there are things that have to stay private in any business, but we should at least be entitled to know whether he was sacked or resigned. The three paragraph statement, that was finished off with the message that there would be no further comment from the club shows how important we are to them.

It really wouldn't bother me. I have been made redundant a couple of times, and the story of job cuts from the firms I have worked for have always been in the paper. But the point here is that I don't have very many people interested in whether I have a job or not. There are thousands of supporters who are interested in what is going on at HUFC. Why did Sunderland and Blackburn find no problem in saying whether their managers had walked or been sacked. Are Hartlepool something special that they can treat their supporters with such little respect.

rubbish, it's a mans right to keep his personal life personal, even in the football world. I like what Turner said, seems to suggest that MAYBE they took what a lot of the moaners said on board when they made their decision

Basically, it's none of your business and if you did know, so what?

None of my business to know whether the manager of the team I support was sacked or resigned. So am I the only one who is interested in knowing if he walked or was pushed.
I take it then the manager's decisions on who plays and who he brings on as subs is also none of our business. Quite a few people on here think that it is their business, as they seem to think he makes the wrong choices. Hypocrites?
