i'm sick to fookin death of all this triumphalist shit on here abut wilson going. i was never his biggest fan, but with a little bit of hindsight, i just can't see why there are posters on here who are supposedly celebrating to the rafters because of his demise.

he has been one of the few managers in our history that has gained us promotion, he's universally well respected in the game by people who know a fook sight more about the game than treewithdisorder or any of the other 'experts', most of whose experience of football (chip excluded) at any decent level is gained from sky tv. yawn2

yes he made some baffling fookin decisions, and some of his selections were, to be honest, SHYTE, but fer fook's sake, why would anyone spend all their time and flickering brain wattage pillorying a bloke who's left us in better nick than when he took over ? stpid

get a fookin life, you bunch of braindead losers. half you damned bounders aren't happy unless you're having a go at someone else. are your lives that inadequate that you can't see past the end of your own opinion, not just once, but AD FOOKIN NAUSEAM yawn1 ?

Surely the non obligatory inclusion of Peter Beardsley is an oversight?

The list is as lazy as fook and total bollocks in my opinion. I mean Chisholm (who's name was being whispered last season) isn't even on the list yet the Histon manager Steve Fallon is as short as 8/1. I highly doubt we'd go for a Southern based non league manager who's team is half John Becks! It because they are doing well in the league and cup and they will just lazily link him to every available league job because hardly anyone will bet on this so they can't be arsed to research things properly.

the following will be killed before i allow them ever to manage pools

1. Ternent - horrible, weaselly, psychotic pensioner
2. Billy Davies - horrible, whingy, sulky jock twat
3. Dave Penney - loid-tarred, loser excuse-monger

the following would be picked up from the staincliffe in a stolen limo in my underpants

1. Holloway
2. Boothroyd
3. Dowie

the following is the most likely and would probs do a good job, and in a new age kind of way would be both written in the stars and some sort of mystic synergy...

1. Clough

You know what pools are like, they will get some bloke no one has ever heard of. Its the unwritten rule in HUFC (apart from Wilson)

So what "big name" would be interested in coming to Pools where the squad is decimated to the extent we can barely field a full 11 plus subs, and where the chairman has already said that there will be no money to strengthen. It's certainly not likely to be someone with great ambition is it? stpid stpid

The job is almost certainly going to go to Turner - we have been asking what he actually got paid to do for some time, so he might as well start to manage the team as well as do ALL his other duties. This would make a nice little saving.

Where is this no money shite coming from?

There was no money available to Wilson.

That might be because there isn't any at all, or it might be cos they didn't trust the uselessfucker to spend it properly.

Time will tell I suppose.

thats all good and well GeoffN if Turner was actually being paid by HUFC, but he isn't, he is paid and employed by IOR, so if he were to get the job permanently, he would become an employee of HUFC therefore we won't save anything

Exactly it's all total speculation, maybe they looked at his signings last season and decided they want to give him any money. Things were said at the AGM I know but their were also lots of thinly veiled digs at Wilson in the chairmans report from the AGM as well.

Well unless Hodcroft lied to the question I asked at the recent AGM I can say for sure that there will be no money available. If you read the chairmans statement then this also makes the situation seem pretty clear. The loss over the last 12 months was massive and the clear aim at present seems to be simply to keep things stable during these difficult financial times.

Again I would ask why any "big name" with great ambition would want to come to Pools at this time. Of course we could always get someone elses failure who is desperate for a job - any job!

I'm not asking for a "big name".

All I want is somebody who will play players in their proper positions and get the best out of them.

If it was all as clear cut as you're making out their isn't a chance in the world we'd have sacked Danny Wilson, as a manager he was pretty much stability personified. I've heard strong rumours about us a signing at least one player in January, a signing that looks all the more likely after yesterdays events.

this is an opportunity for any up and coming manager to make his mark and he will have a fairly talented squad to work with. It's not like taking over at a club with no good players at all, trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, as Billy Horner would say

If so, I think that you must have forgotten to add the obligatory "?" where you stupidly placed a full stop.

We'll let the correct use of capital letters pass this time, we don't want to overload your pea sized brain.

Ripper, was it a question on his part or a statement? In the sense it's the...'can you read'... for instructions probably.
