Jesus I never realised how miserable this bloke is, he's not a fan of the message boards that's for sure  He's like Danny Wilson's PR.

What a depressing interview he's just done on Tees I feel like slitting my wrists.

That's because the football 'insiders' think fans should just walk through the tutnstiles and cheer regardless, doff their caps and be happy with out. The message boards have helped to dispel that particular social throwback.

All he did was bang on about finances, and how the club in running on a fourth division budget and playing the league above blah, blah oh and how people who contribute to message boards have no idea about football management just computer games.

You have people who have more extreme lets say, attention seeking views (mentioning no Trees sorry names) but I think you get an awful lot of sense talked as well. It's also assumed that only the people who post are of that opinion when it's normally a decent barometer of the fans overall opinion.

Completely patronising and doom and gloom, FFS we are aware that Danny Wilson is a decent bloke and a decent manger who's done a canny job at Pools but like everything he's run his course at the club. I wish him luck but unlike managers and people who are payed to cover Pools matches in the media we as fans will always be here and are entitled to form our own opinion.

He is a useless bounder to be honest. He is a shockingly bad commentator and wants locking in a cell with that brownleee bounder and blowing up.

A quick impression:

"It was a errr, errr good ball over the err, err top to joel, no err I mean, err Chris Kyle, by erm, the right back, Sweeney I think or was it Liddle? Err, back to the err, studio."

Trouble is, a team battling for 'mid table' impresses no one, you really do struggle to get worked up over a team battling for the 12th spot and that really was the trouble. You can get worked up over a relegation fight or a promotion push, but Wilson seemed to be stuck in a shell hole in no mans land and seemed content to sit there and take no risks, not going back and not going forward, just sitting in the safety zone ...that was his problem.

I know Liddle's passing has become a little negative over the last year but it's getting beyond a joke when even passing the ball back to the studio :-o

I get right pissed off when they announce there has been a goal in our game, go over to Brian and it takes him 30 second splus to explain which team has scored let alone which player. You sit there waiting for him to say whats fucking happened but nothing comes so you boot your computer up, connect to internet, log onto the Bunker and have found out before the dullard annouces it.

The Bunker has the thick end of a thousand members. Thats a thirds of Pools attendance. Today we've had 120 logged on so you can safely assume that this is a better barometer of the feelings than one bloke in a cossetted environment.

Easy solution. Go to games instead of listening to Radio Tees.

Now Wilson has fucked off then I will start attending away games again.

unfortunately some of us do have to work,, ok ok ok have to go to work on a match day, and to be honest he bloody offended me tonight, and he obviously reads this board, and he obviously knows I'am legally bound to pay his bloody wages, coz he works for the bloody BBC.......
I would not say this board has been totally negative over wilson, he had his supporters who voiced their opinions same as others, but to brand all people who happen to have a different opinion to himself the way he did, if he ever had the guts or the balls to come on here and say the same then maybe just maybe a modicum of respect may be justified.

As it is he sat smuggly on a BBC radio programme and belittled " a local message board" and we all know there is only one HUFC message board....."THE BUNKER"

SO COME ON SUNSHINE SHOW YOURSELF .......

and another thing,...

to prove the point...

we had all the phone scandals, all the tv companys...skimming millions of soft punters voting on phoney votes...

it gets sorted and what happens...

the BBC take tons of calls on a phoney semi final of a dancing comp... knowing that an entrant who walked out early becoz of a previous, very previous engagement on a cruise ship, so that the final still had 3 entrants left...at least the others did it for finacial gain...
the bloody BBC do it out of arrogance...
why because YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BLOODY PAY THEM!!!!

there aint alot of years between me and him, it was his comment, even his expenses come out of my licence fee, which I have no choice in payin, even if I only watch SKY, which also pay them.... so even if i stop listen as I travel around at work on match day they still get my money to pay his expenses.... is that fair...

would your company like to receive a fixed payment for every person in the country who ever uses a similar service that you supply, even if they never use you?

money for old rope!!!!

If he is 66 then he should have plenty of experince at being a commentator etc. So he should only get expenses, he is so shiit at it.

I didn't hear the interview but when Arundale pays into games like I do then i might consider respecting his opinion.

Wilson did ok for s but he never really seemed fully committed to the Pools cause.... Lets get someone in who is.....
